The organization of the wedding of Irene’s Closet and Giovanni was entrusted to the wise hands of the team of Bianco Bouquet in August 2023, when the influencer and his partner turned to Costanza Giaconi to organize their wedding in Valdorcia.

From the very beginning, the couple showed their passions and desires clearly, asking Costanza and Marta for an event that reflected their personalities. So the theme of travel and the journey as an introspective path have immediately become the protagonists of the event, along with their love for animals, the respect of nature, and the desire to create a beautiful event but sustainable and with zero-kilometer menus and flowers.

On the way to the wedding of Irene’s Closet

The journey, then, is the protagonist of this wedding, and the same couple, a week before the wedding, announced that they want to walk about 200 kilometers of the Via Francigena (an ancient pilgrimage route) to reach the venue chosen for their wedding.

“We are definitely a little crazy – writes the influencer on his Instagram account – because we decided to honor our great passion, which for us has become the metaphor of our life together, also for our wedding. We will not be alone in this journey that will lead us to celebrate our love. Friends will join us, we will be more and more until we reach our goal. For the next 200 km you will find us on the Via Francigena, see you on the road: we are officially gone to go get married”.

Respect for nature and sustainability

From the very first meeting, the couple expressed their desire that marriage should be a mirror of their personalities. For this reason, the choice of the wedding venue fell on an elegant farmhouse in rustic Tuscan style, nestled among the rolling hills of the Val d’Orcia: La tana del Bianconiglio, which is not only a charming place, but also a refuge for animals. Appearance that has immediately won the hearts of Irene and John.

In line with the vegan ethic that distinguishes them, the newlyweds offered their guests an outdoor dinner with a vegetarian menu based on seasonal products. Also for the flowers and the whole set-up, the choice fell on producers in the area, aiming at a reduced environmental impact.

The theme of travel as a common thread in marriage

The journey, and the pilgrimage – as mentioned – have always distinguished Irene and Giovanni, so it was natural to place a small paper compass as a placeholder for each guest, to symbolize the importance of orientation and finding oneself.

The ceremony and reception were embellished with a delicate palette of country tones, accompanied by the unquestionable taste and elegance of Bianco Bouquet. A special touch was added to the plein air ceremony with the backdrop chosen in Irene’s Closet’s signature style: two wings made with flowers and greenery, to recall the background of the murals in which the couple has published dozens of photos on their IG channels.
