Intimate Tuscan wedding

Their dream was an intimate Tuscan wedding, surrounded by families and close friends’ love. So, the first time they contacted us, we welcomed with great joy the request of Amanda and James. When we met the couple in Florence, we started a location scouting to find the perfect rustic wedding venues in Tuscany.

Getting married in the Tuscan countryside

The couple, who live in San Francisco, had visited Tuscany during the summer holidays and they fell in love with its landscape. For their intimate wedding, Amanda and James wanted a venue in the Tuscan countryside.

The choice fell on Podere Calvaiola, in the province of Pisa, an old country-chic farmhouse surrounded by green nature. Just what the couple wanted to celebrate in the company of their 30 guests.

Wedding and reception plan in every detail

For the organization of this wedding with a boho soul, we took care of every aspect, from the transfer to the catering and flower design service, collaborating with our trusted suppliers. Amanda and James wanted a rustic and country chic setting, perfect for an outdoor wedding.

For this reason, we have been inspired by the location and the countryside all around. Every aspect of the wedding and reception has been planned in every detail. The goal was to amaze the bride and groom and the guests, leaving them truly speechless.

Some rustic wedding ideas for an amazing event

The ceremony was celebrated with a symbolic rite and a romantic exchange of promises on the grass, in front of a bronze arched structure that reminds palm leaves. The theme of nature with leaves, flowers, dragonflies, and ladybugs was also used to create an original mise en place in gold and bronze tones.

These colors have been chosen to create a perfect balance with the green, white and red of flowers and plants. Daisies, the symbol of the Tuscan countryside par excellence, was the absolute protagonists. So, the perfect rustic wedding in Tuscany was planned.

Tuscan menu to win over guests

The wedding reception was set up outside the location, perfectly inserted in the rustic style of Podere Calvaiola. To start the party, guests were welcomed with a special buffet to taste a typical Tuscan aperitif with local cheeses and meats. Even the menu reflected the flavors of Tuscany, with an excellent Chianina.

Planning the intimate Tuscan wedding of Amanda and James was a great satisfaction. Their and their guests’ joy has been tangible at all times. This is the greatest gratification for us.
