Bridget and Adam are a young couple from the United States. When they contacted us to plan their wedding, they looked for a wedding venue on Lake Como. While they were telling us their wishes, we immediately thought about the wonderful Villa Balbiano, with the certainty that during the scouting venue, we would conquer them. And so it was! Villa Balbiano is an enchanted place on the shores of Lake Como. Its rooms, garden, and terrace are the perfect setting for weddings at sunset when the sun reflects on the waters. As soon as Bridget and Adam saw the wedding venue, they realized it was the perfect place for their intimate wedding.

The ceremony with symbolic ritual took place on the terrace overlooking the lake. The couple was very excited, and the exchange of promises was a very romantic moment.
To make everything unforgettable, the floral arrangement with pastel colors creates a delicate contrast with the green and blue of the surrounding nature.

Wedding reception at Villa Balbiano

After the ceremony was the time of the photos. What to say? The exclusive venue of Villa Balbiano is one of the most beautiful places to capture shots of a day that will remain etched forever in memory. Bridget and Adam posed and enjoyed getting photographed on the private pier with boathouse, also taking a speedboat ride on Lake Como.

Waiting for the newlyweds’ return, the wedding guests enjoyed the splendid view, welcomed in the garden of Villa Balbiano, where the aperitif was also served. The wedding banquet then continued in the elegant square in front of the villa. Newlyweds and guests were very satisfied with the menu served, with typical dishes of the Italian tradition.

For their intimate marriage, Bridget and Adam were in the company of their parents and their closest friends. Guests and newlyweds stayed in the suites of Villa Balbiano, all furnished with great care and elegance.

All the preparations of the bride and groom took place in the villa. The photographer took beautiful pictures in the moments before the ceremony, so full of emotions.

Music, cake, and entertainment to amaze the guest

Although it was very intimate, the wedding party went on until late evening with music and entertainment. One of the most romantic moments, as always, was the cutting of the cake. Bridget and Adam, as perfect Americans, had requested a red velvet cake to impress their guests.

The surprise succeeded perfectly because the cake was covered with a soft withe glaze and only at the time of the cut appeared the classic red color of the most famous American cake.
