Exclusive wedding weekend in Florence

For their wedding in Florence, Ariadne and Daniel were looking for a team of experienced wedding planners to help them organize the big event: 3 days of celebration in 3 different locations in the city!

The love story of this young Nigerian couple began at school, after 13 years of friendship and 3 years of relationship, Daniel surprised Ariadne by kneeling in front of her and asking her to marry him. So romantic it seems like a modern fairy tale!

The couple wanted to respect tradition and so on the wedding day they got ready in two different hotels, without seeing each other up to the altar. Ariadne wore her gorgeous wedding dress at Villa Cora while Daniel was at the Four Seasons Hotel. When the two met again in the church, the emotion was very strong: a magical moment impossible to forget.

The religious rite in Chiesa di Ognissanti

The wedding ceremony took place in the Chiesa di Ognissanti, in the center of Florence. The white floral decorations that we designed for the couple perfectly matched the Renaissance art that embellishes the church.

Ariadne’s entrance, arrived in a Bentley and accompanied by her father, was preceded by a procession of bridesmaids, pageboys and flower girls scattering flower petals along the aisle. With her magnificent dress with a long train and a smile on her face, Ariadne moved and excited everyone present.

Wedding reception at the Four Seasons in Florence

For the wedding reception at the Four Seasons Hotel we decorated the ballroom with white floral arrangements, touches of gold and burgundy. Even the table followed the same elegant style that reflected the tastes of the spouses in everything. Guests were first greeted with a cocktail in the lobby and then escorted to the ballroom for dinner.

Once seated, the guests found a small gift for each one of them at the table. A gift from Ariadne and Daniel to thank them for their presence on such a special day. Dinner was also enlivened by exceptional entertainment! There were a tenor and a band who sang the most famous Italian songs such as “Nessun Dorma”.

The cutting of the cake on the terrace marked the conclusion of the dinner and the beginning of the dances! When the guests returned to the ballroom, a DJ was ready to spark the party. Some tables were removed to create a dance floor, the celebrations with music, laughter, fun continued until late.

It was very important for Ariadne and Daniel to be together with their families and friends, and to share a real party with them. Also the next day, the two chose to spend time with the guests at Il Locale to say goodbye before returning home.
