Gina & Jean Claude

Princely wedding at Villa Cora

Arriving from Colombia to celebrate their wedding in Florence, Gina and Jean Claude were determined to amaze all their guests with a princely event. After accompanying them to discover some of the most beautiful venues in the city, they chose to invite friends and relatives to the magnificent Sala degli Specchi of Villa Cora.

Destination wedding: from Colombia to Florence

The dream of having Florence as the background of their wedding pushed them to fly to the other side of the world traveling for kilometers, from their home in Colombia to Italy. About 40 guests arrived with Gina and Jean Claude: friends and relatives who absolutely could not give up the big day!

The wedding took place in October, on a sunny day that allowed the bride and groom to pose for some photos even outside the church and villa. The result? Photos with beautiful autumn colors, perfect combination with the event palette: gold, white and blush.

Catholic wedding with the classic white dress

The Catholic ceremony took place in the Church of Ognissanti, in the center of Florence. Like a real princess, Gina wore a very gorgeous white dress with perfectly matched accessories. Even Jean Claude did not give up on the white who also chose the for his groomsmen, his suit was cared for in every detail.

After the ceremony, Gina and Jean Claude reached Villa Cora aboard an Alfa Romeo Spider: a modern carriage that paraded through the streets of Florence. A welcome cocktail was set up in the garden of the villa and kicked off the party.

Wedding reception in the Sala degli Specchi

The dinner took place in the Villa Cora Sala degli Specchi, one of the largest halls in Florence. The hall is characterized by many baroque details, golden stuccos and majestic decorations, to which we have added two imperial tables and romantic floral compositions. The final effect left all guests speechless.

To embellish the entrance of the newlyweds, we placed an arch of white and pale pink flowers in front of the door. This beautiful setting was then also used as a background for the cutting of the cake and for the couple’s first dance: very suggestive moments that excited everyone.

Wedding party at Villa Cora

After the dinner, the wedding party continued in the Pasha restaurant room inside the villa. As per South American tradition, the couple have not given up on the “hora loca”. Tha dances gone wild with friends to the rhythm of the music.

Three professionals were present to play live until two in the morning: DJ, sax and drums. The dances, the toasts, the joy and emotions of the day were the backdrop for a beautiful, intimate and very participatory party. The happiness of all present for the great day of Gina and Jean Claude was tangible!
