An exclusive villa facing Lake Como
Villa Pizzo is a noble 17th-century residence built on the promontory of the Gulf of Cernobbio. Fully visible only from Lake Como and famous for its elegance, as well as for its breathtaking views, the villa is an ideal venue for exclusive and refined weddings.
The residence includes the main building – characterized by simple lines and developed on two floors -, other smaller buildings, the greenhouses dating back to the 20th-century, the Volpi Bassani mausoleum, the vast park and the artificial cave with water features. The Italian garden also hosts exotic and rare plants and it is enriched by Baroque fountains. Of course, walking through the avenues of ancient trees, you can admire a spectacular view. Both newlyweds and guests can enter the villa in a spectacular way, arriving by boat on the private dock built in the 19th-century.
The large garden overlooking the lake is the favorite place to host the apertif on one side, and the wedding reception on the other one. Instead, the ceremony can be held on the dock. Villa Pizzo allows you to celebrate both civil and symbolic wedding, indeed. About the Catholic ceremony, you can choose one of the churches located in Cernobbio.
It would be a shame to miss the interior rooms, finely furnished in neoclassical style from the end of the 18th-century and embellished with painted ceilings, as well as high reliefs. Four halls are available to host the reception. Each of them has a different capacity, but all of them are connected.
The Villa doesn’t offer overnight accommodation, but nearby there are several luxury hotels where you can accommodate all the guests wishful to enjoy Lake Como for a few days.
