Castello Monaci is a 6 centuries long story, set in the heart of Apulia. A majestic fortress built among ancient grapeyards, and olive trees, just over half an hour away from the baroque town Lecce and the Salento sea: an evocative venue to celebrate an unforgettable destination wedding.
The white stone of its walls, the majestic towers covered with ivy, the palm trees and the rich gardens, not to mention the elegant internal rooms and the historical and artistic pieces preserved: all these elements contributed in making Castello Monaci one of the most exclusive venues in Italy.
You will be able to choose among many areas where set the various moments of the wedding in! The winery or the courtyard – with its sumptuous staircase – could host the ceremony, while the aperitif could be held in the pool area. The reception could be set up outdoor in the front garden of the Castle, or indoor in one of the noble rooms, for example. Moreover, the large capacity of all spaces allows the Castle to host big events with several hundred guests.
If you wish to have a complete experience, together with some wedding guests you could stay in the two structures part of the property: Le Scuderie and Casina Metrano.
Le Scuderie – Wine Resort is a luxurious bed & breakfast adjacent to the location. It is born from the renovation of ancient the stables of the Castle. The b&b is surrounded by 150 hectares of native vineyards and offers 10 elegant double rooms, furnished with unique design pieces combined in an original way. Casina Metrano, on the other hand, is a real, welcoming house made up of 5 double rooms, a kitchen and a dining room, plus a garden and a swimming pool. It is only 1km far from the Castle: the ideal solution to host your family.
