Weekend wedding in Florence

Ekene and Baba were coming from Nigeria and for their special day, they dreamed of a destination wedding full of party and fun. For them, we planned two days of events in Florence, carefully curated down to the smallest details to provide them with a memorable experience.

A welcome party full of music

On the first day, the couple welcomed their 200 guests with an exclusive party at Il Locale in Florence. After a gourmet dinner, the newlyweds-to-be, who are avid dancers, hit the dance floor to the tunes of a DJ, who arrived especially from Nigeria to give the couple musical entertainment that reflected their tastes.

At midnight, a new surprise: singer Virginia Nuti thrilled the bride for her birthday, performing for her and her guests.

A wedding reception at Palazzo Corsini

The next day, the religious ceremony at the Church of Ognissanti saw Ekene and Baba emotionally exchanging vows, followed by a magnificent reception at Palazzo Corsini.

The setting was fit for a prince-like party, starting with the grand staircase, where a floral extravaganza framed the red carpet for the arrival of the bride and groom. While the guests were enjoying an apéritif in the gallery and halls, with a scenographic photo booth to capture the moment, the performers of Mho Events entertained the audience with a dinner show that left everyone ecstatic.

Fireworks over Florence

For the traditional cake cutting, guests were invited to the terrace, with hostesses offering pashminas to protect themselves from the cool air. Here, fireworks bursting along the river provided a wonderful and enchanting spectacle for the bride and groom and their guests. The lights, reflected in the waters of the Arno, are images that Ekene and Baba will surely carry with them forever.

Afterwards, the festivities continued late into the night with DJs and dancers, capping off a truly memorable destination wedding.
