Yocelyn & Rodolphe
Romantic wedding in the Sienese countryside
Yocelyn and Rodolphe, romantic and sweet, immediately chose Tuscany to celebrate their union. Both Swiss living in Geneva, he Italian origins and she Peruvian origins, asked us to create a wedding in an intimate place in contact with nature, and a Tuscan experience of a week that included a daily activity to involve their families and their guests. When they discovered Borgo Stomennano, our couple had no doubts: that would have been the right place for their event.
A week of celebrations in Borgo Stomennano
Yocelyn and Rodolphe would have stayed there for the whole week of the wedding in September. During this period we planned for them activities such as tours of Florence, Siena and the medieval villages of the Sienese countryside, as well as wine tasting and cooking class.
The day before the wedding, bride & groom welcomed their guests with a welcome cocktail nestled among the Sienese hills. Even if the sky was announcing rain and it was necessary to arrange the plan B, Yocelyn and Rodolphe lighted up the environment with their true happiness smiles. Fortunately the next day the sun shone, just as Yocelyn in her princess dress. The religious ceremony took place in the nearby church of Abbadia ad Isola, the bride arrived on a powder blue Torpedo, and entered the church preceded by a procession of bridesmaids and pages.
The reception: unique shows and performances
After the ceremony, the guests reached Borgo Stomennano, where an elegant cocktail was waiting for them in the garden. When the couple arrived, a string quartet welcomed them with the applause of the guests. It was a surprise for all the guests when, shortly afterwards, 30 flag-wavers entered in the garden and exhibited in a performance that left everyone speechless!
At the end of the show they formed a tunnel of flags and trumpets to invite guests to move from the garden to the dinner area. For the reception each table was set up under gazebos illuminated with fairy lights, each one was enriched with precious glass hanging chandeliers. During the dinner relatives and friends made their speeches alternating Spanish and French and this moment excited everyone…us too! The highlight of the event took place during the party, especially for South American guests.
After-dinner party till late night
At the end of the dinner, three fire dancers entered with a short choreography inviting guests to move to the party area. The dancers performed a fire show that left everyone breathless. The cake cutting was followed by a second show of the artists, after which the first dance of Yocelyn and Rodolphe took place, exchanging their promises and declarations of love. Now the party started, a saxophonist played together with the DJ, while a photo booth with funny accessories was set up to entertain guests. The party went on with dances and fun until late in the evening.
The next day, to say thank you to their guests, the newlyweds wanted to share a Sunday brunch in the garden of the borgo, overlooking the Sienese countryside. And for Bianco Bouquet … the satisfaction of having realized their Tuscan dream, all week long.
